Xbox’s Jason Ronald confirmed via his person al Twitter that Xbox Series X will support DirectX 12_2.
Someone asked him the following :
” Question about XSX and its DX12 Ultimate, Will it be able to have updates ? like the new 12_2 version of DirectX 12. Thanks and good luck on the September news. “
Jason Ronald answered :
” Yes. Xbox Series X already supports all of 12_2 hardware features.”
That means Xbox Series X supports all of DirectX features just like your normal PC. Xbox Series X and Series S both launch during the Holiday season of 2020
