Some Games I Wish Microsoft Would Revive
Some Games I Wish Microsoft Would Revive
1. A sequel or reboot for the game Wet. This Bethesda game was well-received by many but failed commercially due to launching at a challenging time, leading to the cancellation of its sequel.
The best developer for this, in my opinion, would be Ninja Theory.
2. Reviving Scalebound, the ambitious open-world game that everyone knows about. It was canceled due to the misuse of project funds by the developer. However, Microsoft still holds the rights and assets, so the project could theoretically be resumed.
The best developer for this, in my opinion, would be Asobo Studio.
3. A reboot or remake of the iconic Banjo-Kazooie. This game was once the most popular platformer after Mario and even inspired many ideas in the Mario series itself. It would make sense for Microsoft to capitalize on this legendary title and bring it back to prominence.
The best developer for this, in my opinion, would be Playtonic Games.
4. A sequel to Quantum Break. This game was fantastic but needed just a few tweaks to become a masterpiece. Its take on the concept of time was unique and cinematic. Microsoft should consider bringing it back.
The best developers for this, in my opinion, would be The Coalition, The Initiative, IO Interactive, or Krome Studios.
5. A new installment of Fallout: New Vegas. The Fallout series is still alive and thriving, but a new game by Obsidian would be something everyone would want. Alternatively, Bethesda and Obsidian could collaborate on Fallout 5. Obsidian is one of the best teams for design and storytelling.
6. A reboot or spiritual successor to The Evil Within. There’s no doubt that Shinji Mikami is the “Godfather” of horror games. The Evil Within series was one of the best horror games I’ve played. I hope Tango Gameworks revisits this title, either with a reboot or a completely new game led by Mikami.
That’s it for now! These are just a few of the many great titles Microsoft could revisit ❤️
