Speaking recently with Voxel, the game’s creative director Nate Fox talked about the length of the game.
Nate Fox said :
” It is a difficult question to answer, because the world is a large space with several isolated side stories, We did several tests with people playing about 6 and a half hours a day and the results were very different. Many did not finish the main story because they were busy exploring other aspects of the game. “
The interviewer then asked him about if the game will be 40 to 50 hours long. Nate confirmed that the game can get to that length if you decided to investigate the island and go in a lot of different ways.
He also suggested drifting off the main story and do different side missions. Ghost of Tsushima launches on July 17 exclusively for PlayStation 4.
