Crysis Remastered Will Support Ray Tracing on PC and Consoles

Crytek officially confirmed that Crysis Remastered will support Ray Tracing  on PC, PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X.

The consoles version of Ray Tracing will be Software based. That means the Engine itself of the game is capable of showing you some Ray Tracing technologies even if the system itself doesn’t support Ray Tracing. PS4 Pro and Xbox One X don’t support real Ray Tracing. That’s why Crytek will use a Software based version.

On PC, you can play the game on a full hardware based Ray Tracing. This is supported by the Nvidia RTX graphics cards. The next-gen of consoles PS5 and Xbox Series Xare going to support Hardware Ray Tracing.

Crysis Remastered launches September 18th on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
